President - Anushkay Raza Hi friends! My name is Anushkay, and I’m your 2019-2020 President! I’m a U3 student with a major in Political Science and a double minor in Econ and Sociology. Two fun facts: I am unhealthily obsessed with Brooklyn 99 and my favorite place on this earth is Lions Valley Park, so that’s where you’ll find me during the holidays. I’m super excited and honoured to be this year’s PSSA President! I know I have big shoes to fill, but I cannot wait to grow this association even further, and to continue to foster the supportive and inclusive community that is the PSSA. My goal this year is to further give students avid opportunities to engage with the community and the department. If you ever see me around campus, please feel free to say hi, or if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to email me at president@mcgillpssa.ca I’m so hyped to be working with all of you and the rest of the exec team to make this year the best one yet!

VP Internal - Dharana Needham Hi everyone! My name is Dharana Needham and I have the pleasure of serving as your VP Internal for the 2019/2020 year. I am from Vancouver, BC, and am a U2 Honours Political Science and History student with a minor in Social Entrepreneurship. I am very passionate about 20th Century history, and domestic and international policy making! On campus, I am active within McGill’s Model UN community, and am a member of the Beta Psi Chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta. In my spare time I can be found searching for new cafes to study at, in dance class, or binge-watching Netflix. I am so excited for the PSSA and am thrilled to be working with such an incredible group of people. This year I hope to increase First-Year outreach, expand the Mentorship Program, and help with accountability and transparency within the organization to ensure that every student has a voice in how the PSSA runs! If you ever have any questions please don’t hesitate to email me at internal@mcgillpssa.ca or stop by my office hours!

VP Communications - Audun Jawanda Hiya! My name is Audun Jawanda and I am this year’s VP Communications. I am U3 double-majoring in Political Science and Economics, with a primary interest in International Political Economy and International Trade. I’m a proud New Yorker, despite the fact that real New Yorkers would say I’m not from the city. I love skiing, playing frisbee and spending far too much time wasting on the internet (reddit, twitter, whatever). My goal this year is to make all PSSA communications engaging, aesthetically pleasing and timely to make sure you all know what’s going on. If you have anything interesting happening on campus or just want to chat (over email? really?), email me at communications@mcgillpssa.ca
